Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
Not at all. We ask for your sex, date of birth, how healthy you feel, whether you smoke, how much coverage you want, and which term suits you. Those six pieces let carriers return their prices. Only if you move forward to apply do we collect your name, address, and medical history.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
Each rate you see comes from a carrier for the underwriting tier you entered. The carrier's underwriting process might later upgrade your tier, downgrade it, or keep it the same, which changes your final bill. Everything here is an estimate—not a guaranteed price, not a contract, not a promise the carrier will approve you.
What happens when I click Apply?
Type in your name, and we build an application from your exact quote choice. It opens on the carrier's encrypted platform. Pause whenever you need; resume later. Signing happens digitally. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California firm (License 0B75129), manages the process.
Will I need a medical exam?
That depends on the carrier, your coverage request, and what you told us. Some carriers—marked as offering immediate decisions—can say yes or no on the spot for certain applicants. Every quote here shows whether that carrier will need an exam, might need one, or can skip it.
Is a longer term better?
A term length covers exactly the period your family would hurt if you died: a mortgage's remaining years, children before they're independent, a business partner's obligations. Longer terms cost more per month but lock that rate in. The tool lets you compare 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 years from every insurer.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The tool doesn't ask for contact information, we don't buy or sell your data, and we don't use trackers. Browse the privacy section to see exactly what gets collected and who sees it.
